The River Forest Park District Summer Camp Program Guide will be available for online viewing on February 27th. Resident registration begins March 5th and Non-Resident registration begins April 2nd. Once again, we will be offering our half-day camps, along with our lunch program, which will provide our morning campers the opportunity to transition into our afternoon specialty camp offerings without leaving camp. Register Early!

Bring the entire family for relay races, basketball, Baggo, dodgeball & more! This FREE event will be held on Thursday, April 12th at the Roosevelt Middle School North Gym from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Max: 75 capacity, so arrive early!

Park District staff will begin making ice when overnight temperatures drop in the low teen's, and the 7-day forecast has highs not exceeding 30 degrees. Once work on the ice rink begins, it typically takes 3-5 days to complete.
When the ice rink is up and running, a green flag/red flag system will be used at the ice rink to notify residents the days the ice rink is open/closed. A green flag indicates the ice rink is open, and a red flag indicates the ice rink is closed. The ice rink will be lighted from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm daily, when the green flag is posted.
